Alpha Betas — the new animated comedy some YouTube stars Evan “VanossGaming” Fong, Marcel “BasicallyIDoWrk” Cunningham, Tyler “I AM WILDCAT” Wine and Brian “Terroriser” Hanby — has debuted its premiere episode on VanossGaming’s channel.

In the universe of the show, video games are powering the world through a massive CIA program. Alpha Team is an elite virtual strike force of top gamers who are tasked with dropping into video games to solve world-endangering problems. Alpha Betas is described as the “comedic style of Rick & Morty meets Westworld.”

In the pilot episode, the Alpha Team is introduced to the audience as they attempt to restore power to Area 51. To prevent the ramifications of an alien outbreak, they must embark on a western adventure and infiltrate the code of popular open-world game Red Head Intervention. All NPCs have disappeared from the game and the outlaw, Two Buck Chuck, is nowhere to be found. Alpha Team must saddle up and fix the issue before all players log out of the game.
